Uganda - Valle De Kigezi - Anaeróbico Natural
Summary
Single-origin Ugandan coffee from the Kigezi Valley highlands, grown by over 300 smallholder farmers in the Mountain Harvest network at 2,000-2,200 m. The Nyasaland variety undergoes an anaerobic natural process: ripe red cherries are sealed in drums for 72 hours of dry fermentation, then dried on raised beds for 2-3 days in direct sun and finished in shade to 10.5% moisture, before curing up to two months in Mbale. Expect blueberry and compote notes with panela sweetness, chocolatey and red-fruit aroma, medium-high body, medium-low acidity.
