Summary
Yaye is a natural processed coffee from the Arbegona woreda of Sidama, Ethiopia. Sourced from smallholder farmers and processed at the Yaye washing station, one of the highest in the world at 1950-2230 masl. Cherries are handpicked, fermented in sealed polyurethane tanks for around 7 days, washed, mechanically dried, then sun-dried on raised beds for 24-30 days. The cup profile is floral and fruity with notes of grilled pineapple, mango, dark honey, and lemon candy, with vibrant acidity.
