Shantawene Natural is a single origin filter coffee from Ethiopia, produced by Assefa and Mulugeta Dukamo Korma at the Bensa Gatta Farm in the Shantawene region. Grown at 2,100 meters above sea level on volcanic soil, the coffee is naturally processed with 13-16 days of drying on raised African beds. The varieties are Heirloom and Typica. It is a light roast with flavour notes of peach, bergamot, and blueberry. The coffee scored 89 points and is certified organic, UTZ, and Rainforest Alliance.
