Mi Rifugio Geisha
Summary
Mi Rifugio Geisha is a single-origin filter coffee from Colombia, produced by Eloy Gutierrez at the Mi Rifugio farm in Timaná, Huila at 1,700 meters above sea level. This Gesha variety undergoes a Washed Fermented process: the cherries ferment for two days before dry pulping, followed by a second two-day fermentation in tanks, then washed and dried over eight days. The coffee delivers tasting notes of peach, chamomile, and lemon curd, with a fine sweetness, lively acidity, silky mouthfeel, and floral tea nuances. It scored 90 points and is recommended for filter preparation.
