Los Tres Potros Pacamara Anaerobic (filter)
Summary
A single origin coffee from the Los Tres Potros farm in the Apaneca-Llamatepec region of El Salvador, produced by Nora Silvia Cabezas de Mendez Florez and managed by GECA Coffee. The Pacamara variety (a cross between Pacas and Maragogype) is processed using the Anaerobic Natural method, where beans are fermented in an oxygen-free environment. Grown at 1,500 meters above sea level on volcanic soils under shade. The coffee has a score of 89 and offers flavour notes of plum, dark chocolate ganache, and blueberry jam with a silky mouthfeel, pineapple-like acidity, and a sweet finish. The farm has been recognized with Cup of Excellence awards, including Presidential Coffee status in 2016.
