Limoncillo Laurina - Low Caf
Summary
A single-origin low-caffeine coffee from the Limoncillo farm in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, produced by the Mierisch family. The coffee is of the rare Laurina variety (also known as Bourbon Pointu), which naturally contains only 0.3-0.7% caffeine. Processed using the Pulp Natural (honey) method, where part of the mucilage is left on the beans during drying. Grown at 1,100 meters above sea level on fertile, organic soils under shade. The cup profile offers notes of white chocolate, peach, and clementine with a full, velvety body. Suitable for filter preparation methods such as Chemex, V60, and French press.
