Kianjiru AA is a washed Kenyan coffee from the Kirinyaga region, produced by smallholder farmers of the Baragwi Farmers Cooperative Society at the Kianjiru Washing Station. Grown at 1,600-1,800 meters above sea level on volcanic soils, this coffee features SL28, SL34, and Batian varieties. The washed processing includes a double soak method typical of Kenya. It offers a flavour profile of blackcurrant, rosehip, and honey with lively acidity, juicy mouthfeel, and a strong body with a long, clear finish. Scored 89 points.
