Iyego Ab (espresso)

Summary

A single-origin espresso from Kenya, produced by the Iyego Cooperative with cherries from around 400 members delivered to the Mununga Washing Station in the Murang'a District. Grown at 1,800m altitude. Varieties: SL28 and SL34. Washed processed with a double fermentation and extended soaking in clear mountain water. Dried on raised beds for 5-10 days. Tasting notes of mango, vanilla and blackberry with a tropical citrus acidity and jammy mouthfeel. Scored 90 points.
