Summary
A single-origin coffee from Finca Atzumpa in El Salvador, produced by the fifth-generation Ariz-Herrera family. Grown at 1375 meters on volcanic soils in the Apaneca-Ilamatepec UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, Concepción de Ataco region. Variety: Bourbon. Processed using the Natural method (whole cherries pulped without water, dried 14-20 days on raised beds and clay patios). Flavour notes include jasmine, caramel, fig jam, chocolate, cherry, and hazelnut cream, with wine-like complexity, syrupy sweetness, and vibrant acidity. A filter roast. The farm has earned Cup of Excellence top placements in 2018 and 2019.
