Buzemunwa is a single origin espresso from Uganda's Mount Elgon region, produced by smallholder farmers in Buzemunwa village and coordinated by Norman Mukuru at Sironko Coffee Yard. The coffee consists of SL28, Catimor, and SL14 varieties and is processed using the natural method with a drying time of 12-21 days. Grown at 2,300 meters altitude on volcanic soils with organic fertilization and shade-grown practices, it offers a flavour profile of chocolate, lychee, and honeycomb with a lively sweetness. The coffee scored 86 points.
