Suedseite is a specialty coffee roaster in Heidelberg, Germany, founded in 2021 by Hugo, who grew up in the Azores and fell for Nordic coffee culture on a campervan trip. They roast light to highlight each farmer's work, with single origins from Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and beyond. Hugo soon teamed up with Jan, a chemistry teacher, and Andi, a mathematician with a sourdough obsession – so the roastery shares an old mill in Heidelberg-Wieblingen with a bakery. You can visit their locations in Wieblingen and Altstadt, or order beans online and around the world. Their Flow of Südseite subscription keeps the lineup rotating.
