Sparrows

Sparrows is a specialty coffee roaster based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that thinks about coffee in terms of feelings. They believe a cup should evoke something—nostalgia, balance, or a little adventure—and they source accordingly. Every bean is traceable to a single producer or cooperative they’ve worked with for years, and their Q graders taste-test everything before it lands in your bag. Balance and sweetness are non-negotiable; then they sort by the emotions the flavors stir up. It’s a refreshingly vibe-driven way to pick your next single origin, and their subscriptions make it easy to keep those good feelings coming.
