Ottoman Roastery

Ottoman Roastery is a specialty coffee roaster in Cairo, Egypt, carrying the Ottoman Empire's coffee culture into the present. They roast small batches to order, with a lineup that includes traditional Turkish coffee (light, medium, dark, with or without cardamom), single-origin lots from Ethiopia, Colombia, Yemen and beyond, and espresso blends. Nothing but coffee — no additives, no shortcuts. Their origin story is suitably grand: a nod to the Sultan's head coffee master who, five centuries later, landed on a Cairo street corner, coffee still in hand. Every bag is packed fresh and meant for a proper ritual at home, whether you brew Turkish, espresso, or pour-over.
