Metropolis Coffee Co.

Metropolis Coffee Co. is a Chicago-based specialty roaster operating out of their Rockwell Street roasterie, where they taste, roast, and bag award-winning beans with an honest, no-nonsense approach. They've grown from a straightforward roasting operation into a true Chi-Town institution, running two cafes: the flagship Edgewater Cafe—a bustling joint slinging stellar coffee drinks alongside local snacks—and an O'Hare Terminal 5 outpost for travelers craving a real taste of the city. They also partner with wholesale accounts and offer private label co-packing. There's no subscription rigmarole here—just fresh specialty coffee beans available through their shop or for local pickup. Straightforward, Chicago-honest, and built on doing one thing well.
