Merrybeans

Merrybeans is a specialty coffee roaster in Prague, Czech Republic, roasting on a Giesen machine under Vyšehrad since August 2023. The story is personal: Vojta's great-grandfather had a roastery called Maruška, confiscated in the 1950s, and the name evolved from Maruška to Mary to Merrybeans. Today, Vojta, his wife Magda, and his father Marek run a combined roastery and café on Neklanova Street. They focus on single origins from Latin America and Africa, plus espresso blends and decaf, roasted fresh to each bean's character. Flavor profiles run from deep chocolate to bright, juicy 'coffee juices.' You can shop online or stop by the café for a taste, alongside craft chocolate and wine.
