Kávoholik is a specialty coffee roaster based in Bratislava, Slovakia, roasting locally since 2020. What started as a small family operation with a 5-kilo roaster has grown into a roastery with a serious reputation—and a café in the Slovak capital. They source beans scoring 80+ SCA points and roast for consistency, from single origins like the award-winning Ethiopia Hamasho to espresso blends like Štúr. Their head roaster, Oliver Pešta, learned from vice world champion roaster Bogdan Georgescu, and it shows. But they're not just about great beans: Kávoholik wants to make Slovakia coffee-literate, guiding you through brewing, storage, and even choosing the right grinder. Expect quality, not hype.
