Summary
Single origin coffee from Kerehaklu Estate in India, produced by father and son duo Ajoy and Pranoy Thipaiah. Grown at 1150 meters elevation. The estate borders the Bhadra Tiger Reserve and has been family-run since 1953. Cultivar is Selection 9. Uses a washed (sequentially washed) processing method: picked and left in cherry overnight, pulped in the morning, washed, dried on raised beds for two days, then moved to polymer houses for 12-15 days of slow drying, followed by 45 days of curing. Flavor profile features cranberry, orange peel, and white sugar with bright, citrusy notes and delicate sweetness. Light roast.
