Coffee Of The Month - El Salvador Finca Serbia Santa Ana
Summary
El Salvador Finca Serbia Santa Ana is a single-origin coffee from the Santa Ana region, grown at around 1,000 metres on Finca Serbia, owned by Fernando Lima and his family in El Congo near Coatepeque Lake. Established in the 1930s, the farm grows Bourbon, Caturra, Pacas, Catimor and Sarchimor varieties under natural shade from cedar, oak and balsam trees in rich volcanic soils. Medium roasted, it offers delicate red grape acidity, jammy blackberry sweetness, caramelised butterscotch and almond, finishing with dark chocolate cocoa. Suits espresso and other brew methods.
