Ethiopia Chelbesa Danche, Yellow Honey Washed Kurume & Wolisho
Summary
This coffee comes from the Chelbesa Danche station in the Gedeb district of Ethiopia's Gedeo zone. It is produced by SNAP and about 800 smallholder farmers who deliver cherry, primarily of the Kurume and Wolisho varieties. The coffee is processed using the yellow honey method: cherries are de-pulped and dry-fermented for two days, then dried on raised beds for 10-14 days. It is recommended for filter brewing, with a medium-coarse grind setting. Subtext cupped this coffee at 86.75.
