Butawa is a washed single origin coffee from Uganda, grown in the Sironko District of Eastern Uganda. Produced by The Coffee Gardens from 209 smallholder farmers, this lot is processed with a 40-hour fermentation and slow drying method. Varieties include Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28. The cup profile features notes of vanilla, ripe stone fruits, and cola with bright acidity and a silky body. Roasted light to highlight origin character, it is suitable for filter brewing. SCA score of 85.5.
