Gildardo Lopez - Colombia - Copa De Oro
Summary
This lot from Gildardo Lopez's farm El Calamar in Huila, Colombia placed 5th in the 2024 Copa de Oro competition. The Pink Bourbon variety undergoes a washed process: hand-picked cherries are floated, fermented for 30 hours, de-pulped, dry-fermented in parchment for 48 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds for 20-25 days. The cup profile features juicy strawberry lemonade, mouthwatering lime, and cotton candy sweetness with bright citric acidity, light body, and a long sweet finish. Grown at 2000 MASL.
