Summary
This coffee comes from the Cyato washing station in Nyamasheke district, Western Province, Rwanda, owned by Tropic Coffee Company. Cherries are sourced from the Abadateze cooperative with 256 members farming over 110 hectares without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Coffee is selectively hand-picked, processed using anaerobic fermentation for 24-72 hours, then dried on raised beds for 15-21 days. Flavor profile: peach, lychee, and floral notes. Variety: Red Bourbon. Grown at 1850-2200 meters above sea level.
