Tanzania Iyenga
Summary
Tanzania Iyenga is a single origin coffee from Tanzania, produced by the Iyenga AMCOS (Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Society) which has 193 registered members representing over 500 smallholder farmers, most with 1-2 hectare plots. The coffee is processed at a central washing station using a Penagos UCBE 500 eco-efficient pulper that conserves water. The cooperative has invested in quality improvement and won the Taste of Harvest Competition in 2019 with their AA and PB coffees.
