Thailand Doi Pangkhon
Summary
A dark roast coffee from the Doi Pangkhon region of Thailand, a promising coffee growing area in the Golden Triangle historically known for opium production. The coffee is grown at good altitude with mild climate by local growers who transitioned from opium farming. Cultivars include Bourbon, Typica, Caturra and Catimor. Processed using a washed method with natural spring water via a modified Kenya-style process, dried on bamboo beds. Tasting notes include dark chocolate, spice, and black cherry, with a full body and balanced soft fruit tones.
