Rwanda Woman Coffee
Summary
This organic certified Rwanda single origin coffee is sourced exclusively from female smallholder producers in the Kamonyi District who supply the Mbizi washing station, operated by Gihanga Coffee Company. Located at 1700-2200m elevation, it is one of Rwanda's highest processing stations. The Bourbon variety cherries are hand-picked and fully washed: mechanically depulped, fermented for 12-18 hours, washed with high-pressure water, and dried on raised African beds for 14-21 days. Cupping notes include chocolate, orange, nectarine, and jasmine. Score: 83.
