Summary
One Eye Open is a half-caffeinated medium roast blend from Klatch Coffee, combining a decaffeinated washed Colombian coffee (Caturra, Castillo varietals) from the Huila region with a caffeinated Sumatran wet-hulled coffee (Ateng, Jember varietals) from Lintong Nihuta near Lake Toba at 1,000-1,300 meters altitude. The Colombian component undergoes sugarcane ethyl acetate decaffeination. Flavour notes include chocolate truffle, cinnamon, and toasted marshmallow. Suitable for both filter and espresso preparation.
