Kenya Tambaya
Summary
Kenya Tambaya is a washed coffee from the Tambaya Factory in Nyeri, Kenya, part of the Tambaya Farmers Cooperative Society. The station collects coffee from 600 smallholder farmers who grow SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, and Batian varieties. The beans are hand-picked, pulped, fermented for 12-24 hours, soaked for 16 hours, and dried on raised beds for about 16 days. This coffee offers a juicy, fresh cup with a clean and thirst-quenching profile, featuring notes of mandarin and raspberry.
