Single origin coffee from the Kayon Mountain farm, owned and operated by Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family in Shakiso, East Guji, Oromia region, Ethiopia. The organic farm spans 500 hectares with approximately 300 hectares planted with coffee at 1900-2200 meters above sea level. The coffee is grown under shade trees including acacia and other indigenous species. Processed using the natural method, sun-dried on raised beds. Flavor notes include bergamot, strawberry jam, and vanilla.
