Indonesia Hendra Maulizar
Summary
A single-origin specialty coffee from Central Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia, produced by Alami Specialty Coffee from the Gayo Avatara farm by farmer Hendra Maulizar. Grown at 1400-1600 meters above sea level. Varieties include Typica, Absyssinsia, and Catimor. Processed using the Kupas Kismis method, a Sumatra-specific process in which cherries are dried for about 7 days to 30% moisture, hulled, then dried to 11.5%, enhancing sweetness and complexity. The cup is fresh and fruity with dominant notes of berries and kiwi, balanced by the sweetness of raisins and a subtle brown sugar caramel finish. Light roast. Cupping score 88.
