Summary
Peru Tunki single origin coffee from Putino Punco, Tambopata Valley, Peru. Grown at 1600-1800m altitude in the Peruvian Andes. Varieties include Caturra and Bourbon. Washed process. Medium roast suitable for both filter and espresso brewing. Flavour notes of nuts, chocolate and lime. Cupping score of 86. Produced by local Quechuan and Aymara speaking families using traditional organic farming methods without pesticides. The coffee has won several awards including second place in the Rainforest Alliance's Cupping for Quality in 2013.
