Summary
From the Gedeo Zone highlands of Ethiopia, this coffee is grown at 1973 masl by over 2,000 smallholder farmers in the village of Koke. The coffee consists of heirloom landraces (74110, 74112, 74165) cultivated organically along the Futay River. Cherries are selectively hand-picked, fermented for 48–72 hours, and dried with 80% of the mucilage intact using the black honey process at the Koke Shalaye Washing Station established by Abreham Mengiste. The cup profile offers ripe apricot notes, a buttery body, and creamy strawberry sweetness. Sourced through Primrose Coffee.
