Chebega, Washed
Summary
A specialty coffee from Ethiopia's Guji highlands in the Uraga district of Oromia, produced by Bisrat Melaku. This community-led project sources hand-picked cherries from local smallholders, processed at the Harsu Sala Washing Station using the washed method with density sorting, extended fermentation, and slow drying on African raised beds. Grown at 1900-2300 masl. The cup profile offers peaches and cream, zesty lime cola brightness, and a dark chocolate finish.
