Guadeloupean Bonifieur coffee from the Cafe Chaulet estate on Bass Terre Island, Guadeloupe. Grown at 750 metres altitude in volcanic soil under shade from cocoa and banana trees. Sun-dried. This rare coffee is the ancestor of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, with a history dating back to 1721 when it was first cultivated in the French Caribbean. Harvested twice a year in April and October.
