Uganda - Namisuni

Summary

A natural-processed microlot from Namisuni in the Mount Elgon region of eastern Uganda, grown between 1,800 and 2,100 metres on fertile volcanic soils. Produced through The Coffee Yard (TCY), a women-led company based in Mbale working with selected smallholder farmers. Varieties SL14 and SL28; ripe cherries are dried on raised beds at the Sironko station, with final processing and cupping in Mbale. Expect a deep, rich cup with dark chocolate, strawberry and rose, a creamy body and pleasant funk — well suited to espresso.
