Summary

Orangutan Kapszulás Kávé is a Grade 1, 100% arabica coffee from plantations in the tropical rainforests of North Sumatra, Indonesia. The stable rainforest microclimate supports healthy coffee shrubs and gives this coffee its rich aroma and a slightly licorice-like character. It is an earthy, full-bodied and intense coffee, made more exciting by delicate fruity and nutty aromas and mild acidity. Light-medium roast, ideal for making long coffee. The Orangutan Coffee project supports critically endangered Sumatran orangutans and their rainforest habitat, and the livelihoods of more than 350 coffee-growing communities in the Gayo highlands.
