Kafferäven

Kafferäven is a specialty coffee roaster in Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in 2013 by Per and Susanna. They buy from producers they call friends, not just business partners. Their light roasts shine across filter and espresso—single origins, honey-process, fermented, and berry-dried lots. Most coffee is roasted to order and shipped within two weeks, hitting peak flavour between weeks two and eight. They run courses and events at their roastery-shop in the Slakthus area, plus a subscription for those who'd rather not run out. Two rules from day one: source the best beans from people you know, and never compromise on quality. No shortcuts, just really good coffee.
