El Gran Cafe

El Gran Café is a specialty coffee roaster and café in Antigua, Guatemala, sourcing certified organic beans directly from award-winning local farms. They roast single-origin lots from the Antigua region—think borbón from Finca Retana and Finca La Esperanza—with a focus on maintaining each coffee's integrity through thoughtful roasting. Community is at their core: every purchase funds local projects like Ecofiltro and Una Antigua Limpia. Their café and shop sit at 5a Calle Poniente in central Antigua, open daily 8 to 6. Direct relationships with producer neighbors mean the coffee tells a real story of origin, not just a label. It's coffee with principles.
