Summary

Ethiopia, Colombia and Peru · mostly washed and natural lots

Coffee Collective is one of the most respected names in specialty coffee, full stop. Based in Copenhagen, they helped write the playbook on direct trade — paying farmers well above market, publishing exactly what they pay, and building long relationships around iconic lots like Kenya's Kieni and Brazil's Daterra. Expect clean, precise Nordic-style filter and espresso that lets origin do the talking. They run nine cafés (plus a bakery) around the city, hold B Corp certification, and even run a forest sustainability project. They ship internationally. If you want benchmark-setting, transparently sourced single origin specialty coffee, the Collective is a must.
