Kenya Ichamama Natural
Summary
A single-origin coffee from Kenya's Nyeri County, produced by approximately 781 smallholder farmers around the Ichamama factory, part of the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society. This lot is processed using the Anaerobic Natural method, where whole ripe cherries are fermented under plastic sheets for 48 hours before sun-drying for up to a month. Cultivated at 1740 meters on fertile volcanic loam soil, it features SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties. The cup profile offers bright notes of mango and pineapple balanced with deeper tart flavors of black currant.
