Ethiopia Buriso Amaje Natural
Summary
Buriso Amaje farms 12 hectares of coffee in Dambi village, Bensa district, Sidama, Ethiopia. This naturally processed coffee uses cultivars 74158 and 74160, selected by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center from wild coffee in the Metu-Bishari forest. Grown at 1950-2000 meters elevation, the coffee is nourished with natural compost and manure, with selective pruning and strict cherry selection. The cup presents a classic natural Ethiopian profile with Blood Orange and Peach notes, a restrained Juniper accent, creamy mouthfeel, and a long fruit-driven finish.
