Summary

This Kenya AA coffee comes from the Kirinyaga region of Kenya, grown in the southern foothills of Mt. Kenya. Produced by smallholder farmers organized under the Rungeto Farmer Cooperative Society and processed at the Kii Factory. The beans are hand-picked, sorted, pulped, dry fermented for 16-26 hours, washed, soaked for 12-48 hours, and sun-dried on raised beds for 7-15 days. Varietals include Batian, Ruiru 11, SL28, and SL34. Grown at 1310-1900 masl. This light roast offers tasting notes of ripe plum, dark chocolate, lime zest, and sweet tomato sauce.
