Ethiopia Sidamo
Summary
This coffee from Ethiopia's Sidamo region, one of the country's largest coffee-growing areas, is grown on fertile plateaus south of Lake Awasa in the Rift Valley at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,200 meters. The cool temperatures allow slow ripening, resulting in a sweeter cup with pleasant acidity. The region receives 1,200–2,000 mm of rainfall annually and has highly fertile soils. The coffee is produced by Tracon Trading, a holding company with three decades of experience in coffee export, owning several farms and processing stations committed to preserving natural forests and harmonious coexistence with the environment.
