Lass Malo, Washed is a single origin coffee from Papua New Guinea's Eastern Highlands, produced by smallholder farmers from Okapa, Lufa, Elembari and Ungai regions. The coffee is grown at 1450-2000 MASL and consists of Typica and Arusha varieties. Processed using the washed method and roasted for espresso, it offers flavour notes of sweet pineapple, dark chocolate and red currant. The Lass Malo Coffee factory, founded by Maureen Ken and Ken Dumudi, supports local smallholder producers with quality infrastructure and sustainable pricing.
