Kona Typica Anaerobic Washed
Summary
Kona Typica Anaerobic Washed coffee from Darnall Estate, a 46-acre farm in Holualoa, Kona, Hawaii at 1700-1900ft elevation. The Typica variety was processed as an anaerobic washed coffee: cherries were pulped on the evening of harvest, fermented for 60 hours in a sealed container, and dried in a mechanical drying machine. The cup profile is balanced and lively with notes of papaya, citrus, brown sugar sweetness, and red apple, with a creamy mouthfeel and slightly more acidity than a traditional washed Kona.
