Colombia Monteblanco Purple Caturra Tropical Washed
Summary
This specialty coffee comes from Monteblanco Farm in Huila, Colombia, owned by Rodrigo Sánchez. It is grown at 1,730 meters above sea level from the Purple Caturra variety. The coffee is processed using the Tropical Washed method, where fermentation tanks are filled with pineapple, passion fruit, orange, mango, sugarcane, and other microbes, designed to emulate a tropical fruit punch. The cup shows notes of lychee, pineapple, orange, mango, and coconut, with a refreshing aftertaste of coconut juice. Roasted light, it suits both espresso and filter brewing.
