Summary
Uganda Bugisu is a dark roast coffee from the Bugisu region on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda. Grown on volcanic soils at 1250-1900 meters, this coffee features Typica, SL-14, and SL-28 varieties. It offers a generous and satisfying cup with sweet dates, orange, chocolate, and hazelnut aromas, a large soft nuttiness reminiscent of Brazil nut, rich dark chocolate, and a subtle balsamic cedar finish. The mouthfeel is full and embracing, with a long, soft, sweet aftertaste.
