Colombia Strawberry El Vergel
Summary
A Colombian coffee co-fermented with strawberries, from the El Vergel Estate. Grown in the Huila, Tolima, and Caldas regions at 1750 meters, this lot combines Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia varieties. The beans undergo a honey process with an additional anaerobic co-fermentation with dehydrated strawberries and selected yeasts, resulting in a vibrant cup with dominant strawberry sweetness, red fruit, brown sugar, and a lively citric acidity, balanced by a creamy milk chocolate finish.
