This organic coffee comes from northern Peru, where smallholder farmers each owning up to about 3 hectares have joined together. It is a washed arabica, medium roasted to a balanced cup full of chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel, with a light vanilla spice that transitions into sweet blackberries. The acidity is well-balanced, noticeable especially in the aftertaste with notes of red apple and sweet berries.
